About this event
Join Dough Bros for a relaxed evening of pizza-making, good food and good company.
Run by Resilient Lives CIC, Dough Bros brings men together around the simple act of making and sharing wood-fired pizza. The project creates an informal, welcoming space to connect with other people, with no pressure to talk about mental health, but plenty of opportunity for conversation if you want it.
Come along, learn how to make your own pizza, share some food and spend an evening with others in a friendly, laid-back setting. No previous pizza-making experience required.
Dough Bros recently won the Community Group Award at the BBC Radio Devon Make a Difference Awards 2026, recognising the impact of their work supporting men's wellbeing and connection.
This event is part of the Alright Mate? Festival, a programme of creative and social events opening up conversations around men's mental health and wellbeing as part of the wider Movember campaign. You'll see plenty of conversation around men's mental health online throughout Movember, but these events offer a chance to experience that conversation in person, meet others and make it feel a little more real.
About Alright Mate? Alright Mate? is an award-winning Devon arts organisation using creativity to normalise conversations about men's mental health. By bringing artists, local organisations and communities together, they create welcoming opportunities for men to connect, share experiences and seek support before reaching crisis point.
