Elevate Festival – Directing Without Borders: Theatre Techniques from Around the World

Storytelling is universal, passing down through generations and spanning every corner of the globe. This workshop will touch on how theatre-makers around the world approach different storytelling techniques including movement, devising and ensemble work. Through playful, collaborative practice, participants will discover different ways of working with actors, shaping scenes, and creating meaning on stage. Whether you’re an emerging director, actor, theatre-maker, or simply curious about directing, come ready to play, explore, and see theatre from a new perspective.
