Dedicated SEND Sessions at Father Christmas

We’re pleased to introduce three dedicated SEND sessions as part of this year’s Father Christmas Experience at Lappa Valley. On Saturday 5th December, our 9.30am, 10.30am and 11.30am trains will be reserved exclusively for families and groups visiting with individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We’ve listened carefully to feedback and made some positive changes for this year. Booking spaces have been limited and more time has been allowed for each session, helping families enjoy the experience at a comfortable pace without feeling rushed. Designed primarily for young people who would benefit from a more relaxed experience, particularly those who are neurodivergent, the sessions will also include brighter grottos, minimal music, static lighting displays and no playing fairground organ. Souvenir photographs will be optional, and we can tailor the level of interaction with Father Christmas to suit each visitor. These sessions can only be booked by calling 01872 510317 between 9.00am and 5.00pm. They cannot be booked online.
